The Reverend Robin Johnson Moscati, Minister
A native of Virginia, The Rev. Robin Johnson Moscati is delighted to be a new member (by transfer) of Grafton Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in addition to proudly serving as the Worship Pastor.
Most recently she held membership at Olive Branch Christian Church (DOC) in Williamsburg, Virginia. She served as the Assistant Minister at Aspen Hill Christian Church (DOC), Aspen Hill, Maryland while attending seminary. Rev. Moscati completed her ministry internship and was the part-time, licensed minister working with the Youth at Bethany Christian Church (DOC) in Fort Washington, MD for four years. Upon completion of her Master of Divinity degree at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., she was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Capital Area Region. She then served as Director of Youth Ministry at Washington Farm United Methodist Church (near Mount Vernon, VA) for four years. She volunteered for two years with the Higher Achievement program in the Alexandria, VA public school system as an academic mentor to at-risk Youth. Later, she volunteered to teach adults basic office skills and keyboarding through CORE in Fairfax County, VA.
After her career in local government service in Human Resources and Historic Alexandria Museums for the City of Alexandria, she moved to the Tidewater area. There, in the heart of colonial history, she worked for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation as a costumed orientation guide for nearly two years. Rev. Moscati was the Director of Children’s & Youth Ministry on the Middle Peninsula at Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, VA from 2020-2021. Currently, she is the National Chaplain for the National League of American Pen Women. Serving as a supply minister in both the Capital Area and the Christian Church in Virginia, Rev. Moscati has been preaching in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia as her dual career for more than 25 years.
Her lifelong Christian faith and her dear family are of prime importance in her life. She enjoys the loving support of her son & daughter-in-law who reside in Williamsburg, her sister on Virginia’s Northern Neck, and her sister & brother-in-law in western Massachusetts.
